Medical Report: Tips to drink more water throughout the day
PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Drinking plenty of water is great for your health, but many people find it difficult to take in the proper amount of fluids.
Unless we are thirsty, drinking water is not second nature — we have to purposely choose to take in fluids.
There are things you can do to make it easier. One of the best steps is to start every day with a glass of water. You can also carry a water bottle and keep it with you, filling it up as the day goes on.
Fruits and vegetables are also a great choice of fluids.
Staying well hydrated is particularly important on warm days or during physical exertion, but you can’t go wrong taking these steps.
